CEO Connection reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to not accept, cancel, suspend or not extend membership of any person for any reason.
CEO Boot Camps
A participant is not registered for a CEO Boot Camp until payment is received. If a participant is unable to attend the registered Boot Camp, s/he will have 12 months from the date of the Boot Camp to reschedule. A participant may only reschedule once without incurring an additional fee (determined by CEO Connection). All CEO Boot Camp fees are non-refundable.
CEO Connection Events
A participant is not registered for a CEO Connection event until full payment is received (where applicable). With the exception of the Mid-Market Convention, if a participant is unable to attend the registered event, s/he will have 12 months from the date of the original event date to reschedule. A participant may only reschedule once without incurring an additional fee (determined by CEO Connection). All CEO Connection event fees are non-refundable.
Credit Card Fraud
All requests to negate credit card charges are investigated by our technical and legal departments. If you make a fraudulent claim for unauthorized credit card usage, CEO Connection will file a report with all major credit card services. This action may result in cancellation of your services, place negative information on your credit report and create possible criminal charges against you.
CEO Connection reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at its discretion, and against any customer it believes is abusing them. Any such revision or change will be binding and effective immediately after posting. You agree to periodically review the website, including the current version of our Terms of Service.
By attending any CEO Connection event including but not limited to virtual meetings and the Mid-Market Convention, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded. Images may be used in future CEO Connection publications and materials.
How Do We Use and Share Information?
CEOC uses the identifiable business and business professional information that we collect to offer members a variety of business information products and services. CEOC also licenses business lists to authorized resellers and third-party businesses for marketing purposes. Being listed in the CEOC Community and Professional Contacts directories offers benefits to businesses and business professionals, including identification and recognition in the marketplace and the prospect of beneficial commercial opportunities and partnerships.
From time to time, CEOC compiles online and offline transaction and registration information for internal analyses, such as market research, quality assurance, member experience, and operational benchmarking initiatives.
Collection of Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information
CEOC does not deliberately collect sensitive information.
You Have Choices
CEOC respects your privacy preferences and offers the following ways through which you may control how we contact you and disclose your information. We will honor your requests accordingly.
CEOC E-mail Marketing: We provide individuals with the opportunity to opt out of receiving CEOC promotional e-mails and updates about new CEOC products and services. We may continue to send you transactional or service-related e-mails despite your desire to not receive promotional or marketing e-mail messages.
CEOC Direct Mail Marketing: We provide businesses with the opportunity to place themselves on our company’s internal Do Not Mail list should they no longer wish to receive marketing or promotional mailers. We may continue to send you transactional or service-related correspondence despite your desire to not receive marketing mailers.
Third Party Marketing: Individuals whose business contact information we have in our database may request to be excluded from business lists that CEOC licenses for marketing purposes. An individual who wishes to be removed from our marketing list sales may request to be “de-listed” either in writing or by calling CEOC Member Service, resulting in that individual’s business contact record removal from our marketing directories, publications and mailing lists.
For additional information or to request removal, please contact CEOC Member Service at 800.244.4719 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. While we may remove your individual business contact information from our Professional Contacts directories and marketing lists, please be aware that we will continue to provide your company’s contact information in the CEOC Community.
Access and Correction
To help ensure data quality and accuracy, CEOC provides businesses and business professionals with access to their business information within the CEOC databases and with an opportunity to correct verified inaccuracies. Authorized business representatives may request a complimentary copy of their company’s business report by calling CEOC Member Service at 800.244.4719. When a member contacts CEOC about a potential data error, we promptly investigate the issue, confirm the information in question, correct verified inaccuracies and respond to the original inquiry.
CEOC maintains adequate data security measures to protect information against unauthorized access and disclosure. These measures include the implementation of commercially reasonable technical, physical and administrative data security safeguards. CEOC requires workers to sign NDAs.
There is no such thing as “guaranteed security”, whether conducting business online or offline. Having established this fact, CEOC employs commercially reasonable and appropriate data security safeguards that are consistent with our business operations and generally accepted industry standards.
