Dena Tripp

Owner & Co-Founder, Nothing Bundt Cakes

Dena Tripp is an American entrepreneur best known for co-founding the specialty bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes with her friend Debbie Shwetz in 1997. Their shared passion for baking — combining Tripp’s homemade bundt cake recipe with Shwetz’s cream cheese frosting — sparked the idea that grew into a nationwide business. Tripp served as co-founder and chairperson of the company’s board, helping guide strategic expansion and maintain the brand’s focus on quality and celebration-oriented products. In 2016, when a private equity firm invested in the company, she retained significant ownership and her leadership role continued.
